The OLD-SCHOOL Model

The Company gets $0.60 – $0.70 cents
The Distributors get $0.30 – $0.40 cents

Approximate Number of ACTIVE members needed to earn $10,000 a month
in monthly passive income….2,500 – 5,000 members

The NEW-SCHOOL Model

The Company gets $0.50 cents
The Distributors get $0.50 cents

Approximate Number of ACTIVE members needed to earn $10,000 a month
in monthly passive income….2,000 – 3,000 members

The NEXT GENERATION Model

The Company get $0.30 – $0.40 cents
The Distributor gets $0.60 – $0.70 cents

Approximate Number of ACTIVE members needed to earn $10,000 a month
in monthly passive income….500 – 1,500 members

What type of model would you rather be a part of?

A company where the owner’s bank accounts are getting fat off the efforts of the distributors?

Or a company that is OWNED by the distributors?

Hmmm……something to chew on.

I had a woman tell me straight up that she thought I should be doing videos in front of a yacht so people would “see the money”.

It was her perception that people wouldn’t pay any attention unless I appeared to be dripping with wealth and flashing the cash based on what I was wearing, what my furniture looked like, what kind of car I drove and where I traveled.

I couldn’t disagree more.

First of all I want to make it very clear that I am a regular person, just like you, who has figured out some things in this industry that I want to share to help others.  I don’t pretend to be independently wealthy and you won’t hear me hyping up the numbers or trying to be some big leader in the industry.

That would be misleading at best.

I learned a long time ago that “like attracts like”.

It’s because of who I am that certain people will be drawn to me. I’m a married mother of four kids, a woman of faith, enjoy working with teenagers, interested in health and fitness, a coffee and chocolate lover and I even have a dog who happens to be my little buddy.

Some people will be interested in knowing more about me and working with me because we have something in common.

But what if I tried to present myself as someone other than who I am?

Guess what? I’d have a whole bunch of people who would be disappointed when they actually got me on the phone!

So what you see is what you get with me. You’ll read comments about me being the ‘real deal’ from a handful of people that know I reach out and help people by telling it like it is and not trying to pull the wool over anyone’s eyes.

It’s just me….Sabrina Coffin…..coming to you from the beautiful state of Washington where I raise my four children while pursuing the American dream of freedom.

Jamie walked into the club, excited to reconnect with old friends.  She’d set this date on her calendar months ago and spent all day getting ready for the big occasion.

The first to arrive, Jamie waited patiently for the arrival of her friends.  It had been a few years since their last gathering and she was thrilled
to hear all about what had transpired in their lives and share the excitement in her own.

As her friends filed in one by one, Jamie noticed someone new in the group and felt the attraction stir within her.  Not only was Alex strikingly handsome, but he also seems to have the qualities she was looking for in a man.

As the evening progressed, a woman sat down next to Alex and Jamie was disappointed to find out this was his wife. She began to mentally tear her apart to shreds.

Overcome by jealousy, Jamie’s attitude left much to be desired as she verbally sliced and diced Alex’s wife with her sarcasm and cutting humor.  Alex was insulted and offended by the comments made and abruptly left the conversation in disgust, wife in tow.

Maybe you’ve never had this situation happen to you, but if you are in network marketing,  I imagine you’ve encountered people along the way who have torn you and your business to shreds.

Perhaps you have been the one who was doing the slicing and dicing.

If and when you meet someone who already has a business, consider them married.  Don’t be the first one to tell them their products are overpriced, their comp plan doesn’t pay and they’re involved in a company lacking in integrity.

In other words, don’t tell them their wife has a big wart on her nose, is overweight, can’t cook and has no personality!

They’ll put up a wall so fast you won’t know what hit you!

It’s much better to find those areas that you can agree upon and partner together to share what is working for you and how you can help each other.  It comes down to the partnership and if that person ever decides their business isn’t working out for them, they will have already built a relationship based on trust with you and perhaps join you in
your business.

If someone is married to their MLM, don’t tempt them to cheat on their spouse. There are plenty of prospects who are single and looking.

My phone was ringing off the hook the other day
but there was one call that stood out above the rest.

I was greeted by the friendly voice of an enthusiastic marketer
who wasn’t aware at the time that we had met by phone over a year ago.
It was fun to catch up and share our journey and I gleaned a lot from our conversation based on his 25 years of experience.

Experience…….sets us apart.

I’ve always enjoyed listening to seasoned marketers
who have been in the trenches and are willing to be honest
about all the selfless effort that must go into building a successful business.

“I won’t work with just anyone.  I listen to the heart of the prospect before
I will ever consider having them join me on my team.”

These were words of wisdom pleasantly received as I embraced this philosophy
of building a team that is committed to walking with integrity, honesty and putting
others needs before their own.

It’s those who give away their time without the motive of personal gain
that make it in this world.  The biggest income earners are always the greatest givers.

When you are building a team, you are creating your tribe.
Your tribe should be protected.
Don’t just plug people into a downline and expect your team to flourish.

Use caution and be selective….even if it means building slowly.

Big MLM Lies

I’ve been doing a lot of thinking lately.

Some may find this to be dangerous
but I have found it to be enlightening. (smiles)

For those of us in network marketing,
we know there are a number or people online
shouting and screaming about the hottest new tools
that can be used to create ……

* Better Web Presence
* Drive Traffic to You Website
* Generate More Leads for Your Business
* Set Yourself Up to Generate Multiple-Streams of Income
* Post on Multiple Sites at the Mere Click of a Button
* Scramble Your Words in Your Articles or Blogs
* Market the the Masses Via Email

WhooHoo!!!!

BUY the product with all the bells and whistles and
you’ll be on your way to 1st page presence on Google.

I hate to break it to you….
but not everyone can be 1st on Google.

Most of the people who buy all the goodies….
you know the ones …..
they cost a few hundred buck-a-roos
and make great dust collectors….

Most….and I do mean MOST…..
of the people NEVER end up reading the info from start to finish.

Or….and here’s another good one….
If they do end up reading it,
they don’t APPLY the information.

Then, they whine and complain
about how MLM doesn’t work and
they just can’t seem to build a business online.

Hmmmm…….

Listen up!

Meet Ed.

He’s like most people in network marketing.

He didn’t read his policies and procedures.

Ed said he was promised by his sponsor that he’d make a lot of money
if he just followed the “duplicatable system” his team was using.

When Ed asked his sponsor about retirement,
he was told he would be able to retire.

When Ed asked about passing the business along to his kids,
he was told he could do so.

When Ed asked if he could work another MLM,
he was told it was okay.

But what Ed didn’t realize is that his sponsor was misinformed.

His sponsor was the product of generations of reps who
had never really taken the time to read their policies and procedures.

Ed found out the hard way.

After 10 years of dedication and hard work,
he had built a very successful business.

Unfortunately, Ed had some personal health issues and became ill,
forcing him to put his business on hold.

The first few months were wonderful because he was
generating a residual check that blessed him during a time of need.

His hard efforts really paid off!

But then the 4th month hit and he was in for a real shocker!

He didn’t realize there was an ‘ongoing commitment’ clause…..
meaning he had to continue working to receive his full residual income check.

Consequently, his check was cut by about 80%.

Mad as Hades, Ed got out his policies and procedures to
prove the company wrong.

Better late than never, I guess.

That is when Ed discovered a host of information that
made his stomach drop and his head spin.

You see, Ed didn’t realize he would never be able to retire,
nor would he be able to pass his business along to his children
and he noted that if he even remotely complained about the
policies to other reps, he could be terminated or sued by the company.

Don’t be caught with your head in the sand.
It’s a very dark and lonely place.

With your head buried, your vision is impaired
and you’ll never know what’s going to come by
and kick you in the ……rear.

Some People Have Figured Out How to Retire in 5 Years

Everybody in network marketing knows they need fresh leads
flowing through their business to experience any real growth.

Most people would like to learn how to generate their own leads.

Some people know how to attract quality leads into their business
who are ready to join them, cash in hand.

Then there are those people who foolishly throw their money to the wind,
buying leads from various sources because their upline promised them
the leads were “XYZ Company specific.”

BULL!!!!

Here’s what it typically looks like when purchased leads are called:

1) The person doesn’t want to work at home and claims they never
asked for information.
2) They aren’t even over the age of 18 and just filled out an online
form to win a computer.
3) They don’t understand the value of building a residual income and
you’re starting out at ground zero trying to convince them it’s
not a “scam”.
4) They just lost their job and need to make money right away but
they don’t have any money to start.
5) The number provided is wrong…..what a waste of time and money!
6) They don’t have a clue about network marketing and think getting
online and playing Mafia Wars and Farmville is somehow going to
rake in the big bucks!
7) When they open their mouths, they say things like “I can’t”, “I hope”
and “I tried”.  N-E-X-T!
When you listen closely, you hear every excuse in the book as to why
they won’t be able to work at home.
9) You well candles and the guy tells you he’s highly allergic to candles.
(So much for your “candle specific” lead.)

I could go on.

I think by now you get the point,
especially if you’ve “been-there-done-that”.

Buying leads is a complete WASTE of your time and money.

You need QUALITY leads.  Leads that WANT to work at home
and HAVE the money to get started and KNOW that MLM
works and are willing to do what it takes and move forward.

This is a statement I stand by…
